Workshop: Horizon Europe: advanced knowledge and key competences for
successful application
The workshop, organized within the framework of the CITY-FOCUS project, aims to provide participants with advanced
knowledge and practical skills for preparing and submitting successful applications under the Horizon Europe programme.
Through presentations and interactive discussions, the workshop will address the key stages of the application process,
highlighting both the main challenges and the best practices that can increase funding success rates. Participation is limited
and requires prior registration.
Moderator: Maria Tsouri, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences
The workshop will have a practical, hands-on format,
focusing on the structure and preparation of a funded
Horizon Europe application. The session will be led by
Professor Maria Tsouri (expert in economic geography,
innovation studies, sustainability transitions, and
quantitative research). Professor Andrés Rodríguez-Pose,
Director of the CITY-FOCUS project, will also take part in
the event.
